The Jamaica Defence Force JDF and the police are carrying out investigations after a woman found in a soldier’s car, died from gun shot wounds sustained in an earlier incident.

The deceased has not yet been identified.

The incident reportedly took place between last night and this morning, in the corporate area.

In a statement this morning (February 26), the JDF said it was informed of the incident by the police.

It confirmed that the vehicle is registered to a member of the JDF.

Investigators are appealing to anyone with information on the matter to report same.
