Sunshine girl’s Jhaniele Fowler, Romelda Aiken and Shimona Nelson continue hold their own among the statistical leaders after 8 rounds in the Suncorp Super Netball league in Australia.

Fowler leads the league in scoring with 443 goals….111 ahead of Aiken who is second on 332.

Her last outing saw her equalling her Australian record 66 goals to lead the west coast fever to a big 76-56 win over the Adelaide thunderbirds.

Nelson who plays for the thunderbirds finished with 47 goals from 51 attempts to push her overall tally to 279.

A feat that sees her occupy the number 6 spot on the scoring charts and second in offensive rebounds with 20.

Aiken leads that category with 31.

Action over the weekend saw her draining 43 goals from 49 shots to steer former champions Queensland Firebirds to a tense 60-57 win over the NSW Swifts.
