The Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA) says the Riu hotel in Montego Bay, St. James suffered minimal affects from last evenings flood waters.
JHTA President Omar Robinson says a few sections of the hotel to include the public area and some rooms were flooded.
He says affected guests were moved to rooms on upper levels.
Meantime, some tourists arriving last night experienced some discomfort due to traffic glitches, caused by the floods.
