General Secretary of the Jamaica Labour Party Dr. Horace Chang has charged party supporters to return to their communities and spread the message of prosperity and hope for a better Jamaica, under a JLP led government.
He was addressing thousands of JLP supporters who converged at the national arena yesterday for the party’s annual conference.
In giving his report, Dr. Chang noted that the JLP inherited Jamaica after 22 years under an incompetent Peoples National Party government.
He pointed out that with the JLP in charge, the country is now on the right path and heading in the right direction.
He said the JLP was dominant in the past year, with 2 major by election wins.
Dr. Chang said, as the JLP moves into the 5th year of government, the secretariat will be ensuring that all constituencies have a full team of workers.
He told the supporters to get ready and listen for when the party leader rings the bell, signalling the next general election.
