Joby Mcanuff retires from International football

Senior Reggae Boyz midfielder Jobi Mcanuff has called time on his international career.

The 35 year old who plays for Leyton Orient in the fifth tier of the English football league said the move was in keeping with his plans to focus on extending his playing days at the club level.

The club relegated from league two last season, the player hopes to dedicate his entire focus on helping them regaining promotion.  In addition to that Mcanuff says his body can no longer stand up to the rigours of international travel.

Mcanuff, who has 32 caps for Jamaica previously played for Westham United and Crystal palace and last appeared in a friendly international for Jamaica against Honduras in February.
