West Indies opener John Campbell is expected to lead the Jamaica Scorpions in the upcoming regional four-day championship.
The scorpions who will open away against the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force team sees Campbell being recommended by the selection panel to captain the team.
West Indies batsmen Jermaine Blackwood and Guyanese Assad Fudadin, along with top all-rounder Rovman Powell, are also in the squad along with Nkrumah Bonner, Alwyn Williams, Aldaine Thomas and Grenadian-born Denis smith.
The squad is completed by Marquino Mindley, Derval Green and Nicholson Gordon, Dennis Bulli and spinner Patrick Harty are the specialist slow-bowling options.
Brandon King and tearaway fast bowler Oshana Thomas are out — both due to west indies duty against touring Ireland.
