The Jamaica Teachers Association (JTA) has accepted the latest wage offer from government.

JTA President Georgia Waugh Richards says while the salary increase remains at the same 16 percent over 4 years, there were other aspects of the overall package that had some improvements.

Mrs. Waugh Richards says, the offer was reviewed and voted on, during today’s special meeting of the General Council of the Jamaica Teacher’s Association.
