JTA president calls for parents to teach children better values amid viral ‘ensure’ videos

A call is being made for parents to do better in teaching their children proper behaviour and values, in the wake of a social media trend, involving the use of nutrition supplement, ensure.

The videos depict male and female students, engaged in the activity, on school property.

Jamaica Teachers Association President Winston Smith, said often times, the children are modeling the actions of adults in their environment, especially in cyber space, and that its the duty of parents, to raise their children, with good values.

He lamented that it’s not possible for school administrators to monitor the actions of students, at all times.

Mr. Smith also criticized the habit of persons on social media, doing things only for likes.
