Singer Judy Mowatt and Alan Skill Cole are mourning following the untimely death of their grandson.

Twenty-year-old Shem Cole of Wellington Drive, Kingston 5 died following injuries he received in a motor vehicle accident.

Reports from the Harbour View Police are that about 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday, young Cole was traveling westerly in a Toyota Corolla motor vehicle when the driver of the motor vehicle allegedly lost control of it; the motor vehicle then hit a median and flipped over to the other side of the roadway, where it was hit by a JUTC bus.

The occupants of the motor vehicle were taken to hospital where Cole was pronounced dead. Three others persons were admitted. The driver of the JUTC bus escaped serious injury.

Investigations continue.
