Ka’Bu Ma’at Kheru Launches Making Kenke From Memory

Renowned Jamaican Pan Africanist and IRIE FM broadcast journalist Ka’Bu Ma’at Kheru, will be launching her third book, this Sunday October 1, at the Institute of Jamaica in Downtown Kingston.

‘Making Kenke From Memory’ Ka’Bu’s third book of poetry, is expected to take readers on an ancient journey, from the deep and troublesome waters of the Atlantic Ocean, to the calming currents of the River Nile, in search of the African identity.

The highly anticipated launch of ‘Making Kenke From Memory’ hosted by Ester Figueroa, will feature several distinguished readers, performers and presenters.

Sunday’s launch will be preceded by a live outside broadcast of IRIE FM’s flagship program the Africa Forum: Running African hosted by Ka’Bu Ma’at Kheru, marking the start of Heritage Month on IRIE FM under the theme Decolonizing the Mind.

‘Making Kenke From Memory’ a Sankofic Journey, published by SenYaCum Publishing, is currently available for purchase in paperback and hardcover.
