Commonwealth Games 400 metres hurdles champion Kaliese Spencer will know her fate today regarding charges of a doping violation brought against her by the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission.
This when the Independent Anti-Doping Disciplinary panel convene this afternoon to deliver its verdict at the Jamaica Conference Center in Kingston. The submission of documents by the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) is that Spencer along with former training partner Riker Hylton, refused to be tested last year.
The allegations which carry a four year ban, are that the athletes “have violated article 2.3” of JADCO rules which, in effect, says they refused to give a sample when asked to by a JADCO collections officer.
The athletes have since refuted the allegations by JADCO .
