Keemo Paul called up to replace fellow Guyanese team -mate Shimron Hetmyer

Keemo Paul has been called up to replace fellow Guyanese team -mate Shimron Hetmyer in the ‘Windies test squad for the remainder of the test series against Sri Lanka.

Hetmyer will return home to Guyana to recover from a recent illness and while there, he will continue his preparations to return for the 2-day practice match against Bangladesh in Antigua.

Windies head coach Stuart law said, Hetmyer is a big part of the Windies future and now they want him to recover fully from his illness, so he can be at his best for the up-coming warm-up match versus Bangladesh.

The Caribbean men lead the three match series one nil, following yesterday’s draw in the second test in st Lucia.

The third test which will be the first day/night test to be played in the Caribbean bowls off on June 23rd in Barbados.
