Jamaica’s junior North American Boxing Federation (NABF ) middleweight boxing champion Kemal  ‘hitman Russell  is set to make the first  mandatory  defense of his title in the Bahamas .

A matchup with an opponent yet to be named is set for august 10 in Nassau.

Jamaica Boxing Board president Stephen ‘bomber’ Jones says his executive has duly been informed with fight details still undisclosed.

The 28 year old Russell last entered the ring in March at Jamaica’s National Arena where he dismantled Mexican opponent Michi Munoz in the second round of their ten rounds contest.

Russell’s ring record stands at 13- 1- and o with 11 knock outs.
