Kemar Lawrence set to return to action shortly

Jamaican  International  Kemar  Lawrence is  all  set  to  return  to action  shortly  after  suffering  an  injury    on  Sunday  in  the  New  York Red  Bulls    3-1  win  over  Atlanta  United  in  MLS  action.

The defender who was carted off the pitch at the  Mercedes-Benzes stadium with what appeared to be a serious injury in the 83rd  minute  posted  on  his  instagram  account  this  morning  that  he  is  ready  to  go.

This comes after several cautiously optimistic Tidbits from several sources yesterday.

On Sunday he was reported to have suffered a serious injury when he intercepted a cross with his chest before hitting the turf.

He received the necessary treatment from the medical staff on site, before   he was stretched off the field to a local hospital …………. the match was restarted after a nine-and-a-half minute delay.

Sundays  victory  spearheaded  by  a  brace  from Bradley Wright-Philips moves  the  New  York  Red  Bulls  to  4th  in the  eastern  conference  on  21  points……….four  points  off  the  leaders  Atlanta  United with  Jamaican striker  Romario  Williams.
