Kemar Roach is hoping for a major impact on Ireland Tour and the ICC Cricket World

Experienced West Indies seamer Kemar Roach is hoping for a major impact on the upcoming tours of Ireland and the ICC Cricket World cup, after recovering from the injury which forced him out of the recent one-day series against England.

The 30-year-old bowled superbly in the preceding three-test series to finish with 18 wickets and claim man-of-the-series honours but was then struck down with a stress reaction of the back and played no role in the five-match One Day International rubber which finished 2-2.

Now recalled for the Tri-nations series in Ireland next month, roach says he is looking forward to finding his rhythm again.

The squad captained by Jason holder is completed by John Campbell, Darren Bravo, Shai Hope, Sheldon Cottrell , Shannon Gabriel, Sunil Ambris , Raymond Reifer , Fabian Allen, Ashely Nurse, Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich and Jonathan Carter

The tri-nation sseries which involves Bangladesh, runs from May 3 to 17 and will be the last competition before West Indies start their world cup campaign against Pakistan on May 31.
