Kinloss School mourns death of grade 3 student

Grief counselling is to be offered to staff and students at the Kinloss All Age school in Trelawny, after a grade three student was shot and killed at his home yesterday (Nov 22).

8 year old Javair Kerr-Lemon was among 6 persons shot at a house in the Kinloss district.

25-year- old Kerryann Williams was also shot dead.

4 men, to include 2 teenagers, who were shot and wounded during the incident have been hospitalised.

Board Chairman of the Kinloss All Age School, Telka Holt told Irie FM News, that the killing of young Javair, and the wounding of another student, are heart breaking.

And Principal Jacquline Shirley says young Javair was an active, promising student.

Meantime, the Trelawny police have arrested three men in connection to the incident.
