Koffee cops NAACP Image Award

Grammy-kid Koffee has added another accolade to her list of international accomplishments after copping the coveted Outstanding International Song Award at the 52nd annual NAACP Image Awards for ‘Lockdown’.

Koffee’s ‘Lockdown’ produced by Dane Ray, won ahead of her remix of ‘Pressure’ featuring Buju Banton as well as Buju’s ‘Blessed’, and Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage for ‘Temptation,’ and Tanana’, a collaboration with Davido.

Leading up to the televised awards show on BET and CBS on Saturday, March 27, the NAACP has been revealing its winners for the 52nd NAACP Image Awards each night this week across various categories. In a Tweet, the NAACP says the winners in the Television and Motion Picture categories will be revealed at 5 pm at naacpimageawards.net.

The annual NAACP Image Awards, presented by the U.S. based National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, honours outstanding performances in film, television, music, and literature.
