Koffee joins Sean Paul for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend Music Festival

Grammy-winning reggae sensation, Koffee, has joined Sean Paul as the second Jamaican entertainer to be added to the BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend music festival 2020, the UK’s first-ever virtual music festival.

Koffee announced her addition to the lineup via a tweet on her official Twitter page.

The Grammy kid is scheduled to perform on the 1Xtra stage, a stage which will also feature throwback performances in the form of virtual playbacks. Some of the playbacks scheduled for that stage include Nas, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, and Stefflon Don.

Over the weekend, Sean Paul was announced as a headliner for the Radio 1 Stage, which will also see performances from the likes of Sam Smith, The Jonas Brothers, Rita Ora, and Ellie Goulding among others.

BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend virtual music festival, is slated to take place over the UK’s Spring Bank Holiday weekend, of May 22-24.

Spring Bank Holiday is a public holiday in the UK, where people have a day off work or school.
