The Kolkata Knight Riders team management is confident that their West Indies spinner Sunil Narine has put behind him the issues he recently had with his bowling action.

Narine was reported for a suspect action during the Pakistan Super League last month. However, he continued to play for the Lahore franchise since he was reported only once.

Meanwhile, in IPL, the umpires are expected to monitor his action closely.

Last year, along with his bowling efforts, Narine also played a crucial role with the bat, scoring 224 runs at a strike rate of 172.30.

The Kolkota Knight Riders will commence their IPL campaign this year with a home fixture against royal challengers Bangalore on Sunday April 8.
