by January 16th, 2020

The government has identified land for the rebuilding of the Manchester parish court.

The over 200 year old court house located in Mandeville, was destroyed by a fire, on November 8, last year.

Since then, sessions have been held at the courthouse in Porus, as well as at the James Warehouse Plaza on South Race Course Road in Mandeville.

Speaking at yesterday’s Post Cabinet press briefing, Information Minister Karl Samuda noted that the land for the re-building of the court house will be purchased for over $180 m.
