by June 13th, 2023

As anger grows over the murder of 8-year-old Danielle Rowe, the Lay Magistrates’ Association of Jamaica (LMAJ) is encouraging citizens to take a public stance against those who harm the nation’s children.

Danielle was abducted from the Braeton Primary School in St. Catherine and later found with her throat slashed in St. Andrew.

She died at the Bustamante Hospital for Children on Saturday morning (June 10).

The LMAJ which is the umbrella organization for Justices of the Peace says more must be done to ensure children are protected.

The Association’s President, Trevor Heaven says the nation must stand for something or fall to these acts of evil.
