A man has been charged with murder and wounding with intent, following the killing of a man and the wounding of a woman in Discovery Bay St. Ann, last Tuesday (October 11).

He is 29 -year-old Oshane Nevin of Minard Hill, Brown’s Town, in St. Ann.

Reports from the Discovery Bay police, are that about 8:00 a.m., 27 year old Kendrick Dixon of Rocky Point Clarendon and a woman were at home, when they were attacked by Nevin, who allegedly stabbed them several times.

The police were alerted and both victims were taken to hospital, where Dixon was pronounced dead and the woman admitted.

An investigation was launched and Nevin was charged yesterday (October 16), after an interview was conducted in the presence of his attorney.

His court date is being finalized.
