Man charged in relation to triple murder in Bedward Gardens

A 26-year-old man has been charged with last month’s murder of three men and the wounding of another in Bedward Gardens, August Town, in Kingston.

Charged in relation to the death of 21-year-old Kevan Jackson, 24-year-old Rasheed Edwards, and 18-year-old Keno Wray, all of the community, is Kevon Wright, otherwise called ‘Trigga’, an engineer of August Town road.

Wright has also been charged with wounding with intent, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

Reports are that at about 4:40 p.m., On Saturday April 30, a group of men were playing football, when wright approached them, and allegedly opened gunfire at them.

Four persons were shot and taken to hospital, where Wray, Edwards and Jackson were pronounced dead.

The fourth person was admitted.

Wright was charged yesterday (May 28), after a question and answer session.
