A man died as a result of injuries he sustained in a crash along the Stewart Castle main road in Trelawny on Thursday evening.

His identity has not yet been released.

Reports are that at around 8:50 pm, the man was travelling in a motor car when it collided with a motor truck.

He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

More than 350 people have been killed in crashes on the nation’s roadways since the start of the year.
