A man was shot dead in Cambridge, St. James, this morning (April 30).

Dead is Devon Brown of Plantation Heights, in the parish.

Reports are that at about 5:45 am, Brown was pounced upon by gunmen, who opened fire at him.

He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
