A man who allegedly molested two young girls said to be his relatives in Westmoreland last week, is now in police custody.

The man was apprehended last night (April 12).

Head of the police’s Corporate Communications Unit Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay told IRIE FM news that the man who was on the run for several days, was nabbed during an operation by the Westmoreland police.

SSP Lindsay said the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) is also investigating the incident.
