Bob Marley’s 1977 timeless hit ‘One Love’, will get a remake from his children and grandchildren, along with selected musicians across the globe, for the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF)‘s, reimagine campaign.

UNICEF’s re-imagine campaign is a global fundraising appeal aimed at responding, recovering, and reimagining a post-COVID-19 world fit for children.

A new version of the iconic ‘One Love’ anthem, will be released by Tuff Gong International and Amplified Music on July 17.

All proceeds from the song and all its related activities will directly support UNICEF’s aim, to respond to immediate needs, by providing soap, masks, gloves, hygiene kits, protective equipment, and life-saving information for children and families.

Support will also be provided for near term recovery efforts such as education, support, and healthcare systems, for a fairer more just world for children.

Popular jewelry brand Pandora started their pledge last, Thursday, July 9 which will run through to August 31, where they will match every dollar donated by the public to ‘One Love’ activation, up to the value of USD$1 million.

Meanwhile, Social networking site Tik Tok will also host a special event, and public challenge for fans, around the launch of the song.
