Dancehall singjay Mavado is mourning the loss of his mother.

Information reaching Music News is sketchy but according to our source, Miss Elizabeth Gordon died at a hospital in Kingston on Thursday (March 11) night.

Spragga Benz, Charley Black, and Producer Dj Frass are among social media users sending messages of condolence via the online platform.

Mavado who has not publicly commented, has since updated his Instagram profile pic with one that shows him planting a kiss on his mother’s cheek.

Miss Gordon’s cause of death has not been made public.
