The Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) is taking steps to secure investment for the medical and agricultural sectors in Jamaica.

As a result, on Wednesday of this week (December 16, 2015) the agency will be hosting a forum in relation to medical tourism.

President of JAMPRO, Diane Edwards says this forum is aimed at informing the stakeholders in the sector about the opportunities available.

In the meantime, early next year, Ms Edwards says JAMPRO will be seeking to educate players in the agricultural sector about investment opportunities from overseas and locally.

JAMPRO is a government agency, which promotes business opportunities in export and investment to the local and international private sector.
