Mighty Crown wins Sumfest World Clash

by July 20th, 2018

Mighty Crown dethroned Tony Matterhorn to win Reggae Sumfest 2018 World Clash at Pier One on Thursday.

The Japanese selectors from Yokohama, used organization, consistency, and solid dubplates from a variety of dancehall and reggae entertainers to quell champion selectors Tony Matterhorn, Ricky Trooper, and Pink Panther.

Panther who played as if he was warming up a dance was the first to go, followed by Ricky Trooper who got his biggest forward in the opening round and struggled thereafter.

Tony Matterhorn who lacked consistency, was no match for Mighty Crown who demolished Madgie in a dub-for-dub segment with a six two victory.

The large crowd inside Pier One crowned “The Far East Rulaz“ the winners in the wee hours Friday morning.

Sumfest World Clash was a celebration of Irish and Chin’s 20th anniversary.
