Miguel Coley has been named as the honouree for the 2018 staging of the Purewater /JC/ R.Danny Williams track and field development meet.
This for his contribution to the continued development and success of the football programme Jamaica College which has chalked up 5 consecutive Manning Cup and Olivier Shield titles since his time at the helm.
The meet which is the opening event on the JAAA’s calendar, is in its 25th year and is slated to take place on January 6 at the school grounds at 189 old hope road.
It will also serve as one of the qualifying meets for boys & girls athletics championships.
Participating athletes will compete in 8 track events and 5 in the field.
A maximum of four competitors per class per team per event will be allowed.
Ten individual trophies will be awarded to the most outstanding performers in each class.
