Minister Marion Hall calls on entertainers to help Bahamas

Minister Marion Hall, formerly Lady Saw is inviting dancehall, reggae and gospel entertainers, comedians, and soca entertainers along with Caribbean Airlines, Sandals, and other companies to join hands and hearts to raise funds for the Bahamas.

Minister Marion Hall posted on Instagram that with permission from the Bahamian government, she intends to organize a benefit concert to help rebuild the island following the aftermath of hurricane Dorian.

Beres Hammond, Shaggy, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Koffee, Chronixx, Kevin Downswell, Ryan Mark, Ity Ellis, Fay-Ann Lyons, and Machael Montana are among the 29 entertainers tagged in the post.

Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Jesse Royal, and Ity Ellis have all responded positively to the post.

Dorian slammed into the Bahamas as a Category 5 hurricane. The storm flattened and flooded some sections of the island.

The Bahamian government and several organizations are accepting donations of money and in some cases supplies to support rescue, relief, and recovery.
