A minor earthquake was felt in sections of the country Sunday afternoon.  The Earthquake Unit says it occurred at 2:59 pm.

The epicenter was approximately 7 kilometers northwest of Trinityville, St Thomas.  It had a magnitude of  3.4 and a focal depth of  6.9 kilometers.

It was reportedly felt in st Catherine, Kingston and St Andrew.
