In the space of a week, there have been two baptisms from the entertainment circle.

Former Miss Jamaica Universe, Yendi Phillips is the latest local celeb to be baptized.

On Saturday, pictures, and a video of the beauty queen and model’s baptism flooded social media. In the video, a tearful-looking Yendi is heard giving thanks to God. Many have since congratulated her on the move.

Last week Saturday, singer Alaine was baptized by gospel singjay and ordained Minister, Ryan Mark at Hellshire Beach in St Catherine.

Meanwhile, Wayne Marshall who scored a hit with his latest release, “Glory To God” sparked speculations of a baptism. However, Marshall confirmed with E-Buzz Wednesday that he is merely on a spiritual journey.
