Incarcerated dancehall deejays Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm are still awaiting a judgment following their appeal trial a year and almost four months ago.

In July last year, several attorneys appeared before the Court of Appeal seeking to overturn the convictions and sentences.
Attorney at law Bert Samuels in a Music News exclusive, calls the delay inexcusable.

Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm, along with two others were convicted of the killing of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams at a house in Havendale, St Andrew, in August 2011.

They were all given the mandatory life sentences with Vybz Kartel ordered to serve 35 years before he is eligible for parole; while Sean Storm will be eligible for parole in 25 years.
