More technical support is coming for farmers registered to the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) as the Agriculture Ministry gets ready to launch a new mobile application.

In delivering his Sectoral Debate presentation yesterday (May 17), Portfolio Minister, Pearnel Charles jr noted that the RADA mobile app is a part of several initiatives to be implemented in 2022/2023 under the Ministry’s new national food security strategy- Grow Smart, Eat Smart.

Mr. Charles jr said the app represents the Ministry’s commitment to using technology to build out the sector.

He added that the Ministry will use data to define projects and policies as it moves forward in building out the sector.
