Munga legal troubles continue

Dancehall deejay Munga was granted bail in the same sum of $500,000 when he appeared before the Halfway Tree Gun Court on Thursday.

The entertainer was represented by Kaysian Kennedy who appeared on behalf of Munga’s lawyer Christopher Townsend who is currently off the island.

Attorney Kennedy gives Music News an update.

Last year, Munga was slapped with a $500,000 bail after he was arrested and charged with the murder of Cleveland Smith, the nephew of fellow entertainer Mr. Vegas in Ackee Walk, St. Andrew.

The dancehall deejay who has maintained his innocence is expected to return to court on July 3.
