National junior sprinter Brianna Williams ready to clash with seniors at Racers Grand Prix

Some of the best local and international track stars will be on show at the racers grand Prix Track and field meeting tomorrow evening at the National Stadium.

The sensational national junior sprinter Brianna Williams will for the first time face off with a senior cast when she competes in the women’s 100 meters.

The us based Williams will match strides with national record holder shelly Ann – Fraser Pryce , fellow Jamaicans Christiania Williams, Gayon Evans 2017 world champion Americans Tori Bowie, along with Candice Hill, Jenna Prandini and Kelly-Ann Baptiste of Trinidad and Tobago.

Williams says he is ready to face the challenges of the seniors

On the men’s side Olympic and world champion Yohan Blake still on the comeback trail will face off with racers track club team mate Zharnell Hughes. Blake says he is just prepared to have fun tomorrow.

Other stars on show include; world championship 400 metres hurdlers bronze medalist Jeneive Russell, world championship relay gold medalist Javon Francis, along with world championship 400 metres gold medalist Shaua Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas and 2012 Olympic 110 hurdles bronze medalist Hansle parchment.

The meets get underway at 6 pm.
