National Security Minister, Dr. Horace Chang has announced plans to reconfigure the divisional boundaries of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

Dr. Chang said the change will make policing more efficient and effective and is in a bid to address the significant challenges posed by increased population and urbanization.

Minister added that a proposal was made for the establishment of the Kingston and St. Andrew Metropolitan portfolio.

She was speaking during his Sectoral Debate presentation in Parliament yesterday (June 1)
