The National Environment and Planning Agency, NEPA has described recent complaints about lack of access to public beaches as misinformation.

NEPA’s Chief Executive Officer, Peter Knight said legislation stipulates that public access to beaches is necessary.

He said there is no plan by the government to deny citizens access to public beaches.
