Pieter Seelaar will continue as captain of Netherlands for upcoming ODI against West Indies

Pieter  Seelaar  will  continue  as  captain  of  the  Netherlands  team   for  their  Upcoming  One  Day  international  series  against  the  West  Indies.

He will  lead  a  strong  16  man  squad  named  by  the  Dutch  selectors  for  the  three  match  series  which  will  be  played  in  Amsterdam and   which  will  mark  the  resumption  of  the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League offers teams a route to qualify for the next ICC Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be held in India in late 2023.

Netherlands are currently at the foot of the Super League standings having won just two of their ten games in the competition to-date.

West Indies are also struggling in tenth, three places above their upcoming opponents, and have lost ten of their 15 one  day  internationals  in the competition.

The tourists will be without the rested Jason Holder and  Evin Lewis  who  has  been  left  out  of  the  15  man  squad.

Nicholas Pooran will begin his tenure as captain after taking over from kieron Pollard……………the  West  Indies squad will travel straight on to Pakistan after the conclusion of the Dutch tour for three further One  Day  Internationals  in Rawalpindi.

Making  up  the  West  Indies  squad  are  captain Nicholas Pooran, Vice-Captain, Shai Hope, Nkrumah Bonner, Shamarh Brooks, Keacy Carty, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Brandon King, Shermon Lewis, Kyle Mayers, Anderson Phillip, Rovman Powell, Jayden Seales, Romario Shepherd and  Hayden Walsh Jr.
