Ninja Man’s trial update: Police investigator testifies…

A female police investigator testified today at the trial of dancehall deejay Ninja Man.


The policewoman said she conducted investigations and collected statements from several prosecution witnesses in the case.


There was an early adjournment in the case today as the police officer who the crown is relying on to tender certain statements in evidence will not be available until tomorrow.


The trial is being held in camera and evidence have been led by the prosecution implicating Ninja Man in the murder.


Ninja Man and his son Jamiel and Dennis Clayton are on trial for the murder of Ricardo Johnson also called Trooper.
He was fatally shot eight years ago on Marl Road in Kingston 11.


The men were on bail but Justice Martin Gayle remanded them in custody when the trial started.


Ninja Man and the others will remain in custody until the trial is completed.
