by February 1st, 2022

A trial date could not be set yesterday (January 31) in the case of the two men charged with the murder of Clarendon teacher, Natalie Dawkins because documents are still outstanding.

The accused, 20-year-old Eladio Goulbourne and 19-year-old Mario Headley, both of Clarendon, are in custody and the case has been set for March 31.

Headley did not appear in court yesterday, as it was reported that he has contracted COVID-19.

The deceased 44-year-old Dawkins, who taught at Four Paths Primary and Junior High School in Clarendon was abducted from her home in Denbigh in the parish, in March last year.

It is alleged that she was robbed of money and her motorcar, before being killed.

Her body was found on April 8, last year in a shallow grave, in bushes in Sandy Bay, Clarendon.
