NWA, Warmington & Robinson tour flood ravaged Clarendon

by May 30th, 2017

The government is seeking to assure residents of flood ravaged sections of Clarendon that every effort is being made to restore normality in the shortest time possible.

Minister with responsibility for works Everald Warmington, toured sections of northern Clarendon yesterday (May 29) accompanied by Labour Minister Shahine Robinson and representatives from the National Works Agency (NWA).

NWA Communications Manager Stephen Shaw says the agency has been mandated to do all it can to restore normality.

Mr. Shaw says special attention is being paid to the Trout Hall community, access to which is being hampered by landslides.

The NWA is also examining how to fix sections of roadway that have breakaways.
