The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) wishes to advise that no vehicular traffic will be permitted to traverse the Port Henderson Road during the morning period.

This road closure comes as a consequence of a petrol spill that occurred in the vicinity of the Old Forum Hotel, Portmore.

First Response units from the Jamaica Fire Brigade and the Jamaica Constabulary Force are on site as part of the containment and clean up operations.

The ODPEM will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates where necessary.
