Omar McLeod and Elaine Thompson headline Jamaica’s World Indoor Championships team

World  champion  Omar  McLeod  and  double Olympic  gold  medallists  Elaine  Thompson  headline  Jamaica’s  31  member  team  named  by  the  JAAA’S for  the  IAAF World  Indoor  Championships  next  month  in  Birmingham England.

McLeod  is  among  `14  men  named  to  the  squad  which  includes Everton Clarke, Kamari roach,  Javon Francis, Steven Gayle, Kemoy Campbell, Ronald Levy, Demar Forbes, Clive Pullen,  O’dayne Richards, Andre Clarke, Jermaine Gayle, peter Matthews  and Rusheen McDonald.

The  women’s  aggregation  of  17  for  the  march  1  to  4  event  has  Thompson, Remona Burchell,  Gayon Evans, Dominique Blake, Tovea Jenkins,  Natoya Goule, Aisha Praught, Rushell Burton, Jeanine Williams, Shanieka Rickets, Kimberly Williams, Daniel Thomas- Dodd, Tiffany James, Anastasia Leroy, Stephenie Ann McPherson and  Janieve Russell.

Maurice  Wilson  is  the  Technical  Leader  of  the  team   with  the  coaches  including. Fitz Coleman, Danny Haughton, Michael Vassell and Paul Francis,

Michael Frater and  Deon  Hemmings-Mccatty  male  up the  management  team.
