The Jamaica Constabulary Force has ramped up its wanted person for lent campaign, with the offer of a reward.

The “What are you giving up for lent” campaign has gained traction on social media, with many Twitter users commending the police for the initiative.

The JCF has taken the appeal a step further by tweeting that in conjunction with Crime Stop, a $1,000,000.00 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and charge of wanted persons.

The JCF also tweeted queries about wanted men, asking if the wanted person is in the home, around children or among group of friends.

The police also reminded citizens that it is an offence to harbour criminal elements, and urged them to tell the police where the wanted man is, by calling 811 or 311.
