The one year tenure of   Japanese table tennis coach Satoshi Takashima with table tennis Jamaica officially comes to an end today.

The Jamaica Table Tennis Association acknowledged the Japanaese for his tenure with the Island and for the contribution he has made to the development of the sport nationally.

Table tennis Jamaica is expected to later this week make an announcement as to which Jamaican will fill that post following the short-listing process .

Takashima meanwhile  looking back on his experience  has fond memories but expressed home sickeness  , laments  the lack of playing time for Jamaican table tennis  participants , and recommends a unified approach  in resolving all problems.
