Opposition member of the Constitutional Reform Committee, Anthony Hylton, has expressed support for the move to ‘Jamaicanize’ the constitution.

This, as Minister of Legal and Constitutional Affairs, Marlene Malahoo Forte, confirmed that this was one of the main areas of focus of the committee at this time.

Speaking on Friday as he gave the opposition’s perspective on the work being done by the committee to date, Mr Hylton said the parliamentary opposition knows that it has a very important role to play in the process.
