Opposition Leader Mark Golding is calling for the entertainment sector to be re–opened in the right way.
There have been indications that the sector will be re–opened soon, as Covid-19 cases continue to decline.
The government has also started to ease some Covid-19 restrictions and several sporting events have been granted approval.
Local Government Minister Desmond Mckenzie had indicated that the entertainment sector could be next.
There have been reports that a number of entertainment events are being held islandwide.
One of the most recent events was held last evening (March 15) in the Corporate Area, which saw scores of patrons including entertainers and politicians in attendance.
Speaking during a post Budget Debate press conference this morning (March 16), Mr. Golding expressed concern about how the re–opening of the entertainment sector is being done.
